About Me!

My name is Katie Dennison.
I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Music and am a Certified K-12 Music Educator. I live in the Maxville area of Jacksonville, just 10 minutes south of Baldwin and 10 minutes east of Macclenny.
Music has been a part of my life since before I could speak. From Disney movies, to my grandfather singing me songs, being a part of every musical production throughout elementary, middle, and high school, being a part of choir and band, and then going to college to fulfill my dream and love of music. It has been an influential part of my life, and I am excited to begin this journey to share it with you!
I had a baby girl in November of 2024 and have decided to leave the classroom setting and open the door for new beginnings in homeschool co-ops, private lessons, and lessons with infants to school age children!
I believe that music is an incredible way of expression and that it is also HUGE in the development of children, so why not begin at a young age!?!

It is my belief that through music, movement, art, and connection, children can become well-rounded individuals who can express themselves in a positive and successful way!

I can't wait to see what God has in store!

What we offer!

Private one-on-one music lessons for all ages! 45 minute and 60 minute sessions
-Voice (all levels; recommended for 6 & up)
-Piano (beginner and intermediate; recommended for 5 & up)
-All woodwinds: flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon (All levels)
-Assistance for middle and high schoolers who are learning their instruments or need some help practicing for their school concerts!

Group Classes: 45 minutes - 1x a week, 8 week sessions
Infant to 3 years old My Grown up & Me (Maximum of 8)
Infant - 3 years old classes focus the connection between grown up and baby and the love of music and movement!

3-5 years old (Maximum of 10 students)
3-5 years old classes focus on exploring music and instruments through movement and storytelling.

School age 6-10 years old. (Maximum of 10 students)
School age classes focus on musical elements through movement, story telling, instruments, arts and crafts, and so much more!

Our prices:
One-on-one sessions:
45min -$60/session or package of 5 sessions for $250
60min- $75/session or package of 5 sessions for $300

Group:
$30/participant per class or 8 weeks for $200/participant
