Welcome to Social Growth and Community Connections!

We are a meetup group for young adults with disabilities (18 years of age or older) seeking independence and friendships in their local communities. Clients receive instruction and support by licensed educators while experiencing fun, leisure activities. Our goals are to help individuals improve in executive functioning skills, social skills, self-awareness, communication, self-advocacy, problem solving, and goal setting- all while having fun and developing long lasting friendships.

We host 2-3 social/educational events in the community a month, in the Montgomery County, PA area, lasting approximately 2 hours long. Examples of such meetups are: bowling, miniature golf, dining out, holiday shopping, Escape Room, guided painting lessons, exercising, amusement park, etc.
