Exotic Escapes

My name is Samantha and my husband's name is Patrick. Patrick has own many different snakes over the last 15 years. Before we met, snakes absolutely scared me to death until I seen how the temperament of his snake at the time was. It was from then on that I realized that the saying everyone had about snakes couldn't be further from the truth! I fell in love!

Then I met Amanda one night soon after I got hired at one of my jobs. We worked on the same line once I finished up my training. I remember having just a little bit of money to get a drink on my card. The machine absolutely hated me and never would take my card. My first night when I came back to the line empty handed and she asked where my drink was I told her the machine wouldn’t take my card. She handed me a 5 dollar bill and made me go get a drink.

Pretty soon after that we just clicked and shortly found out we both had a love for reptiles. I had the snakes, she had the lizards. I never thought I would own any type of lizard until I got the call one Friday night that Amanda was no longer here. My heart completely shattered. I lost my best friend, my reptile buddy. Her boyfriend called me a few days later asking if I would take in Kylo her crested gecko. I fell in love with crested geckos from that point on.
