Differences between Fescue and Bermuda Grass

Frontier Fescue

Fescue is a cold weather grass that stays nice and green year round. It does well in heat, is resistant to high traffic and grows well in shade. It is a darker green and wider/thicker blade grass than Bermuda and the more popular choice for the area.

Celebration Bermuda

Celebration Bermuda is a hot weather grass. It grows during the summer and goes dormant during the winter (looks dead). This is a great choice for lower irrigation areas and in straight sun areas. Bermuda is a traffic tolerant grass that does not grow in any shade. It is a lighter green grass with thinner blades.
