OUR JOURNEY STARTED OVER SIXTY-TWO YEARS AGO

Our founder John Hughes Sr. saw how devasting the loss of life and property was to families due to a serious fire during his early career in the fire insurance industry.

In 1962 John created Hughes Fire Protection Company. From the start, the business provided families with fire related safety products five years prior to the development of smoke detectors. Recognized as an industry leader during this time, John was sought out by large corporations to provide safety seminars to their employees. At the conclusion of these programs, fire and other related safety items were made available for purchase.
