TAAF State Qualifier Meet Instructions

This meet is at Memorial Stadium in Midland. Parking and Stadium Entrance is on the west side of the stadium.

1. This meet requires wristbands to enter the stadium for athletes and spectators. Spectators must purchase wristbands at the gate to get in. Cash Only.

2. We will have a camp setup under the bleachers on the home side (West Side) of the stadium. Look for the Midland Cheetahs Banner.

Friday Afternoon - we will be handing out wristbands and bib numbers at the front gate from 4:30pm - 5:30pm. Group Warmup for field events will start at 5:00pm. Group Warmup for running events will start at 5:30pm.

If you arrive after 5:30, bib numbers and wrist bands will be at our camp under the stands. They will need their wristband on both days.

Saturday Morning - we will be handing out wristbands and bib numbers at the stadium entrance from 7:30am-8:30am. Group Warmup for field events will start at 8:00am. Group Warmup for running events will start at 8:30am. Make sure you have your running flats.

If you arrive after 8:30am, bib numbers and wrist bands will be at our camp under the stands. They will need their wristband on both days.

3. Please arrive at the facility in plenty of time to get your wristband & bib number and have time to warmup for your event. The link to the schedule of events is on our website.

4. STATE QUALIFIERS - Top 6 in each event will qualify for the State Meet. Results will be posted in the stadium after each event. Awards can be picked up by the athletes at the Awards Table after their events.

Event Reporting - Kids must report to the heating area for their event when their event is called. If they are at our camp, they will be able to hear the officials calling out from the heating area. If they are in the stands, they will be able to hear the events being called over the PA System.

IMPORTANT - Parents are responsible for making sure their kids report on time to their events. Coaches will be in the stands and at the finish line watching the kids compete. Coaches will not be available to make sure the kids are checking in on time. Kids and parents must listen for their events to be called and make sure the kids report on time. Warmup Area - The warmup area will be inside the stadium by the heating area and our camp. We will gather by our camp to do a group warmup before the meet starts.
