Lean on Him

‘I’m so glad I learned to trust Him,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend,
And I know that He is with me-
Will be with me to the end.’

What a true statement. I’ve had some stuff on my heart tonight and happen to have five minutes to write it down, in case some of y’all have five minutes to read. 😊

This life is hard. Even when everything is going right. When you have everything that you truly want and need, and things are ok- nothing removes us from the pain that comes from living in this world. Whether it be death, disease, financial struggles, or even just the annoying coworker that loves to backstab, these little, or sometimes huge obstacles cross our path and remind us that this is not our home...

And what a blessing that is in itself. That while we have the distinct honor to know that each one of us has been hand selected and designated to be in THIS place at THIS time, and have been given this amazing opportunity to positively impact the people who have been placed among us, we are only here for such a short while. And in the light of eternity, while the things that rock our life may sometimes feel like insurmountable obstacles, and in some cases may so change our lives that it will never be the same, it still continues on toward that ultimate goal. When there is no more pain, and all the negative that comes with life in this world will be no more.

So I’ll end with another classic:
‘There is coming a day when no heartaches shall come,
No more clouds in the sky,
No more tears to dim the eye,
All is peace forever more
On that happy golden shore,
What a day, a glorious day, that will be.’
