Midway Speedway - Opening Night 5/04/24
The day started uncertain with worries about the weather, but we were relieved when the green flag dropped, kicking off the 2024 season. Thanks to our 3rd-place finish in points in 2023, we have a guaranteed spot for the entire season. Despite drawing a high pill for the heat races, I pushed hard and managed to climb to 4th place.
Starting 9th in the feature, I felt the rush of adrenaline as I weaved through the pack, facing a few cautions. Crossing the finish line in 4th out of 17 cars was an exhilarating start to our season. Here's to more thrilling races ahead! - Driver; Josh Smythe.
