Intro Parent and Student Blacksmith Class
This is an introductory course into Blacksmithing. You will learn proper safety and operation of a gas forge. Nails, S hooks, and other decorative hardware will be taught. You will leave with multiple hand-forged items and a new appreciation of the sculptural process of moving hot steel under your own hammer. This class lasts approximately two hours and costs $250 for both parent and student.
Knife Making Classes
Intro course is required. This class is offered to serious students only and takes up to two days. You will learn how to hand forge and grind your own all purpose “everyday carry” knife (EDC). Please see examples under photo page. This class (including intro class) costs $500 per person. Expect 4-6 hours of work each day. Capacity is limited, please reserve in advance.
