There is a growing epidemic in terms of Mental Health and suicidal ideations and plans. As a result, there is a need to find ways to support people who suffer from mental illness and suicidal ideation; in the moment. Data from the CDC suggest that 12.3 million adults seriously think about committing suicide, 3.5 million adults have a plan, and 1.7 million attempt suicide. The data further suggest that in 2021, over 48, 000 people died by suicide; 1 death every 11 minutes. The age group of 15-34 makes up 35% of all suicides, while in the age group of 10-24, suicides are the second leading cause of death.

The SOLUTION is the APP-- ALL ALERT.
It is designed to allow the user to choose from 3 options: 1. A GPS location finder, 2. an emergency message sent to their emergency contact list, or 3, access to 988/an online therapist. This app is different because it will allow the user to connect to support or resources in the moment.
