My Name is Sara and I am honored to be your Lactation Specialist. I have a passion for helping to encourage the bond between mothers and babies by allowing for a smooth transition into postpartum lactation. I attended nursing school in Olathe, Kansas and received my Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN). After graduating, I began working at the top baby hospital in Colorado as a Registered Nurse on their Postpartum Unit. While there, I gained an abundance of breastfeeding education experience. There were many of aspects of my job I enjoyed, however breastfeeding education was the part that I enjoyed the most.
When I married my sweet husband, I transferred to a pediatric clinic in my area. I attained my CLC certification (Certified Lactation Counselor) in order to better help mamas, like I have had the pleasure of doing in the past. We have been blessed with a precious little girl of our own which has only increased my passion for lactation education. I am overjoyed to be a part of your lives and share my passion and expertise with you and yours.
