Welcome to the Irongate Medieval Festival! We're delighted to have you join us for a journey back in time filled with knights, Vikings, and adventure. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees, please familiarize yourself with our event rules and guidelines.

Rules of Our Event:

These rules apply to all guests, vendors, and volunteers attending the Irongate Medieval Festival:

1. Animal Policy:

Only Licensed Service Animals will be allowed through the gate.
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their animals.
All animals must be leashed at all times.

2. Smoking Policy:

Smoking is only allowed in our designated area near the beer tent.
Smoking outside of these areas is not permitted, and violators may be asked to leave.

3. Costume Policy:

Costumes are encouraged but subject to approval.
Please ensure your attire is family-friendly and appropriate for a family event.

4. Weapons Policy:

Weapons are allowed as part of costumes but must be sheathed and Peace Tied, meaning they must have a zip tie securing them.
All weapons will be checked for the safety of all attendees.

5. Photo Policy:

You are welcome to take pictures and share them, but please be respectful of others' privacy.
The event organizers do not have control over what private individuals post.

6. Harassment Policy:

The Council reserves the right to ask anyone to vacate the premises for any reason deemed fit.
This is a family and kid-friendly event, and respectful behavior is expected.
Any mistreatment of patrons, actors, or vendors will not be tolerated and may result in eviction from the event.

7. Food Policy:

Outside food and drink are discouraged, with exceptions for special diets and baby foods.

8. Alcohol Policy:

No outside alcohol will be allowed.
Alcohol will be available for purchase inside the designated area and must be consumed there.

9. Bag Policy:

All bags, backpacks, and purses are subject to search for security purposes.
Please note that this is an open carry state, and attendees will not be asked to conceal or remove firearms.

Vendor Information:

Calling all vendors! We are excited to invite you to participate in the Irongate Medieval Festival. Please take note of the following information:

Application Fee: There is a non-refundable application fee of $10.00 for all vendors.

Application Approval: Every vendor application is subject to approval by the council. Notifications of acceptance or rejection will be sent by email by March 1st.

Applicants without an email address will be notified by mail.

Payment: If your application is accepted, the full payment must be made 90 days prior to the event. Ensure that you have a valid email address and/or mailing address for communication.

Vendor Type: Be specific about the type of vendor you are (e.g., weapons vendor, cloak vendor, jeweler, performer, etc.).

Insurance: Vendors must have their own insurance and cannot operate under ours.

Grandfathered Rates: Vendors who participate this year will be grandfathered in for the same rate next year.

Assistance: It's recommended to have someone to watch/run your booth if you need a break. We will try to provide runners, but resources are limited. Please inform us ahead of time if you need assistance.

Available Spaces:
12x12 space: $100.00
12x24 space: $150.00
Indoor table spaces: $50.00
Other lot sizes are available upon request.

Payment Options: We accept payment through ticket spice, or through your bank by check or money order to "Irongate Medieval Productions P.O. Box 177 Greenbush Mi. 48738." The sooner you submit your application, the better.

Performers: Performers, please provide a schedule indicating how many times per day you will be operating so that we can create an event schedule for our visitors.
