The only definition of energy is in accordance with time and heat (which again is purely defined by volume and time).
The power of the energy is proportional to its physical limits and losses such as friction - heat.

An energy that is transactional therefore is a tangible medium of within a constrained form, often defined by heat/slippage of some sorts.

Heat is defined by timescale - concentration and density (condense)

Potential by the terms is therefore intense. In mathematics we would say in tens. Energy by this means is something that cannot fit in in a a system 100% and needs to be forced to be able to be captured. This process is referred to as resistance and often involves an aspect of heat. “Eternal loss”

So by todays standard and common sense energy must be:

Compressable
Expandable
Moveable/change of flow or state
And in respect to time which would indicate the tension. - (Measured In Tens)
