Artist Biography
Riley Garner

Riley is an Artist, Industrial Designer, and a wood worker.
He was one of the original members of the EBA (Enriched Bread Artists) on Gladstone St, in Ottawa in the early 1990's.
He was the president of the National Capital Network of Sculptors in 1993. He received the commission from the Ottawa Senators for the front entrance sculpture for their new Hockey stadium (The Paladium) in January 0f 1996. It was composed of four eight foot high hockey players and two large 10' x 15' backdrops made from steel and irridescant stained glass.

Since retiring from teaching in 2016, Riley has focused on acrylic and oil paintings, studying under the late Kavin Chan, a master artist in Ottawa.
