What exactly is Neurodivergent?

The term “neurodivergent” describes people whose brain differences affect how their brain works. That means they have different strengths and challenges from people whose brains don't have those differences (aka “Neurotypical”).

Some examples of neurodivergent disorders are:
• Autism - which is the main condition our school is designed for BUT don’t let that stop you. There are many other conditions that ASD styled programs also benefit other neurodivergent people!

• ADHD

• Dyslexia/Dyspraxia/Dyscalculia

• Cerebral Palsy

• Spina Bifida

• Tourette Syndrome

• Epilepsy

And any other condition that impacts the brain.
