1. Mother raccoons are attentive and might just be out foraging for food (to keep up with her milk supply!) If there are no signs of injury or illness, give her time. Try a reunite before calling a rehabilitator.

2. If reunite fails, Do NOT touch the kits with bare hands (rabies vector species!) Contain the kits in a cat carrier (best) or a box lined with a couple old
T-shirts. Keep them WARM!

3. Offer NO food. If you must hydrate, offer ONLY warm Pedialyte, one drop at at time.
